Bryan Young is the founder of Intertwine Systems (formerly University Web Services), and serves as the firm’s President and Chief Technologist. Bryan has expertise in large scale web applications, electronic content delivery systems and secure database deployments, having served as a consultant on web projects for the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, Nature Magazine Online and the American Medical Association. Prior to founding Intertwine in 1998, Bryan led technology-focused projects for Cadmus Communications, Inc. in Baltimore, and Wentworth Associates in New York. Bryan is an alumnus of Yale University and Johns Hopkins University.
Susan oversees client services, marketing and operations for Intertwine Systems. She brings ten years of web and multimedia project experience to the company as well as over twenty years general marketing experience. Prior to joining Intertwine in 2005, Susan served as Marketing Manager for Howard County (MD) Economic Development Authority and led the Creative Services department at Levin Group, a management and marketing consulting firm. Susan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a Minor in Economics from the College of New Rochelle in New York.
Joining Intertwine in May of 2007, Daryl is involved in all aspects of our Design process. With over ten years of mixed media design under his belt, Daryl brings creativity, depth & experience to the company. He began his interest in graphic design as an apprentice with his father, and continued on this path for 12 years. Recognizing the new challenges and advantages technology would present designers and artists alike, Daryl repositioned himself as a web and interface designer. Daryl holds degrees from the University of Alberta and Michigan State University, and is an avid composer after hours.
